What We Do
GET INVOLVED TODAY!What We Do
Our mission is for no child to go without necessities like diapers, wipes, clean clothing, and other basic items. We pride ourselves on being Pinellas County’s only community diaper bank. Our goal is for no child ages 0-12 to go without basic necessities.
What is Diaper Need?
Diaper need is the struggle to provide a sufficient number of clean diapers to ensure that each diaper user can be changed out of wet or soiled diapers as often as necessary. An adequate supply of diapers is a basic need for all infants, as necessary for health and well-being as food and shelter.
To learn more about the need for diapers in Florida as well as the benefits of supplying diapers to those in need, please visit the National Diaper Bank Network’s Florida Diaper Facts page.
Distribution
Babycycle distributes directly to our partner agencies, all who serve local low-income families. Once per month, our partner agencies request the sizes and number of diapers needed. Babycycle does it’s best to fulfill all requests; however, distribution of diapers is based on our inventory.
During shopping days, our partner agencies are able to “shop” for items such as wipes, formula, baby food, new/gently used baby and children’s clothing, cribs, pack-n-plays, strollers, car seats, high chairs, toiletries, infant bathtubs, breast pumps, bottles, children’s books, diaper bags, etc.
**Please note- we do not distribute to individuals in the community. If you are in need of diapers and/or baby items, please contact one of our partner agencies.
Disaster Relief
We are always preparing for relief if and when it is needed. Items that are always needed during hurricane relief are: toiletries, toothbrushes/toothpaste, women’s hygiene supplies, diapers, wipes, paper towels, and toilet paper.
